vade mecum's writing space

Postby vade mecum » Sun Jul 22, 2007 3:24 pm

This is where I do my writing. It is just a short hallway between two bedrooms, but it is all mine. :)

Gosh Carol,

What a neat space. And it's so tidy :) And Wow you have a window right there. One of these days I'm going to find a writing space in front of a nice big window.

Thanks, Elizabeth. The window is my favorite part of it. The view of my front yard is lovely, especially at sunrise. Here is a picture of it in January, with no leaves on the trees to obstruct the colors.

Nice space, Carol. It almost looks like it is part of a loft. Wonderful view from your front window too.

Thanks, Gena. We have an open stairwell, so it is sort of a loft. I can see into the front entry hall and part of the kitchen, as well as the upper portion of the basement stairs, by looking through the railing. My cat keeps me company when I write, and he used to worry me by hanging over the edge, looking to see what the dog was doing downstairs. He fell through to the first floor once, but is now too fat to fit between the rails. :)

Captain,

Ye've a lovely space. I'm jealous of your view. I can lean back and peek out the window but the view isn't very nice. But then again, I'm usually not up with the sunrise to see how it looks then. :)

Thanks, but there's no need to be jealous, Former-Queen Looney, the view is not nearly as nice during the day; just a bunch of trees and my driveway. That's why I posted a picture of the sunrise view instead.:)

Carol, No wonder you like to see the sunrise it's beautiful. And I'm sorry, but I adore trees! Lots and lots of trees. So, trees with their greenery/orangey/rusty/goldy/purpley and every other colory would be fine with me. :)

Elizabeth

PS Thank God your cat got fat!
