Miss Potter - Children's Genre

Postby Snoopy59 » Tue Apr 03, 2007 4:41 am

I grew up reading the fabulous books of Beatrix Potter. She was a great illustrator, writer and conservationist. I loved her characters. The likes of Peter Rabbit, Benjamin Bunny, Jemima Puddle Duck, to name but a few. Then when the movie came out recently in Oz, I had to see it. It was everything I imagined and more. It was purely magical. I didn't want it to end.

Then I picked up the book, *Miss Potter* and read it in two nights. I just couldn't put it down. Beatrix's characters almost come to life.
