EXTRAORDINARY ORDINARY PEOPLE

Postby LilliesCarol » Tue Jul 01, 2014 7:27 am

EXTRAORDINARY ORDINARY PEOPLE, by Condoleezza Rice is an outstanding read. The book reads so smoothly you can't believe you are at the end. In this book she writes of her early childhood in Birmingham from 1954 until she became provost at Standford. If you like bios you will enjoy this one.
Long, long afterward in an oak I found the arrow still unbroke
And the song from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend

Thanks for the recommendation! I enjoy political/biographical works and have a great deal of respect for former Secretary Rice.
Peace,
Cindy
