Thomas Wolfe

Postby allz28 » Mon Jun 18, 2012 10:28 am

I haven't read any Thomas Wolfe before. What should I start with? Any recommendations? What's his best novel?

With Wolfe, it's best to begin at the beginning. His novels tie together, so it's best to start with the first, and work your way through. But if you can only read two, read Look Homeward, Angel, first, and then read You can't Go Home Again.

I concur with James. Wolfe is rather dense but rewarding.
