Postby Brian » Wed Nov 28, 2007 5:30 am

Once again, you've made the Your Story competition a success. More than 1100 people viewed each story and helped us pick "The Oldest One" by Tess Whitehurst of Venice, CA, as the winner. For winning, Whitehurst's story will appear in the April 2008 issue of Writer's Digest.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the competition (either by entering, reading or voting). Stay tuned for the next prompt which will appear in our Feb 2008 issue.

The prompt for this competition was as follows:
"A dairy worker develops the uncanny ability to communicate with livestock"—From The Writer's Book of Matches (Writer's Digest Books) by the staff of fresh boiled peanuts, a literary journal
