Looking for a mentor

Postby Shh_Im_writing » Thu Apr 26, 2012 3:51 pm

Hello all, going to give this a try. I am a long time hobbyist writer. I decided it's time to take it to the next level, getting published (one never knows unless they try, right?). Getting published is a long time dream of mine, that recently bubbled to the surface after the passing of my Mother 3 years ago. I have posted a sample of a short story I am working on to the thriller/suspense critique board if you want to see a sample of where I am currently. I am looking for a mentor and welcome any and all feedback.

With appreciation
Aries

Thank you, appreciate it! Full time mentor? Sounds like you have your hands full. I may take you up on that offer once I figure out what I need!

i'm working with a dozen or so mentees and clients at any given time, so it does keep me from being bored, that's for sure! ;)

Dear Aries, I attempted to read your story in the critique board, but I see you deleted it. I then attempted to send you a PM, but could not understand how the thing worked. If you'd still like a mentor, I'd love to give you a hand.

Thanks very much Deb. I sent you a PM let me know if you didn't get it.
