I didn't want this to happen. "Mike" will never believe that.

Nevertheless, not wanting it doesn't mean I don't agree with doing it.

I apologize for the part I played in it.

You have nothing to apologize for, Rob - at least not in my opinion. But then, I did want it to happen, from day one. The man's a troll, pure and simple.

Now maybe we can move on with real discussions. :)

B&N like any other retailer is always testing new initiatives to see what works and what doesn't. That's senior managements' job. It appears they aren't doing that bad, but that doesn't mean they won't drop areas that aren't working and expand areas that are working.
