We're on Easy Street,
And it feels so sweet,
And the world is such a treat
When you're on Easy Street.

Take it, Oldtimer! :D[/quote]

And we're breaking out the good champagne.
We're sitting pretty on the gravy train.
And when we sing every sweet refrain,
Right here on Easy Street.

Back to you! Oh, perhaps not. Are we infringing copyright? :D :D
Read samples of my Martian series (by Dorothy Piper) and two romances (by Joni Havel) on Smashwords.
Hard copies of all are on Amazon.

Fair use for discussion isn't it?

chorus
It's our moment in the sun
And it's only just begun
It's time to have a little fun
We're inviting you to come and see why you should be
On easy street
Yeah, we got a front row seat
Oh, to a life that can't be beat
Right here on easy street

I don't know how long I'm going to make this WIP.
You ask me what I thought about
Before we were lovers.
The answer is easy.
Before I met you
I didn't have anything to think about.

That's actually more of a novelette than a short story. :)

The problem is that I get bored with some of them.

Hello. Thought I'd stop by and see how you all are doing.

My writing has been mostly poetic descriptions of pictures taken on hikes through the woods and to the beach.

Hi, everyone. Today is a special day for me. Ten years ago, I made my first post on this forum.
Contributors to Writers Block on that day were AyleeS, 4thtroika, drbertholdt, abqwriter, Goodblink, Maria, jasipper and Elibet.
On the 13th September, I see JohnOBX, JamesRitchie, Goldilocks and KarenRankowitz.
I remember being chided by Georganna when I suggested submitting a manuscript in a 3-ring binder. She soon put me right. I've learned so much from other members since then. Many thanks to everyone who has advised me over the past ten years.
Aah, the good ol' days. :D
