2015 April PAD Challenge: Update

[NOTE: Circumstances have pushed back the next update to August 1.]

Just a quick update on the 2015 April PAD Challenge. It seems like I usually shoot for July 4th to announce the results, and one thing or another delays that. I won’t go into what delayed it this year, but I will say that I expect the next update to come on July 18 (yes, my birthday).

I doubt we’ll have all the results by then, but I do hope to have at least some…and to continue adding afterward.

Until then, keep poeming!

I am so excited to see the lists! It was my very first year participating in PAD, and I really enjoyed reading other poets’ poems as much as writing my own! There is such talent in this community. 🙂

I’ve been looking with anticipation since July 4th! I’m not sure if I’m missing something because I haven’t seen anything. If you find out, please let know! Thanks and good luck!

Sometimes Robert will post updates in his Poetry Prompts, so just in case some of you haven’t seen the most recent update:
“Before we jump into this week’s prompt, I just want to take a moment to update people who are interested (quite a few, I know) in the April PAD Challenge results. I still don’t have much to report, so I don’t want to spend a whole blog post on it. However, I do hope to unveil at least some of the results on August 1. Thank you for your patience as we get there.”
So there’s still a few days to wait at least before there’s any news, I think! Super excited to see the results, haha

I can’t wait to see the first lists. There are a few poems I’ve read that I’d love to see there. There were a few by Khara House that I loved as well as De and several others. Keeping my fingers crossed for them.

Life does have a habit of getting in the way of our goals. You are a busy man and obviously a dedicated family man, so it is completely understandable that the date has been moved forward. Thanks for all you do for the writing community.
Happy July 4th to you and all my new American friends on Poetic Asides
