Only 2 Days Left! The WD Annual Competition Has a $3,000 Grand Prize (Along With a Trip to NYC!)

Here’s a cool story. The winner of our last Writer’s Digest Annual Competition was John Moir, who won for his news article, “Condors in a Coal Mine.” His entry was chosen from more than 15,000 for the grand prize. As part of his prize, like every winner before him, WD flew him to NYC for meetings with agents and editors. At the first meeting he had, with an editor for the New York Times, he got assigned a science-themed piece for the paper. How cool is that?

Would you like a shot at a trip to NYC with agents & editors as well as $3,000? It’s all the grand prize of our annual competition. They’ve extended this year’s deadline to June 1, 2011 (with no late fees). That’s only a few days away. Check out the rules, and do it fast!
