New Literary Agent Alert: Jacob Moore of Zachary Schuster Harmsworth

Categories: Chuck Sambuchino's Guide to Literary Agents Blog, Fantasy Agents, Fiction Agents, Literary Agent, Memoir Agents, New Agency Alerts, Nonfiction Agents, Playwriting, Science Fiction Agents, What's New.

UPDATE: It appears that since I wrote this alert a few weeks back, the
submissions page on the agency website now says “No unsolicited
queries.” You can check that page from time to time, but do not
submit until that notice comes down, or Jacob puts out a specific
call for submissions. Thanks. Check out the rest of our New
Agent Alerts for potential markets to query.

Reminder: New literary agents (with this spotlight featuring Jacob Moore of Zachary Schuster Harmsworth) are golden opportunities for new writers because each one is a literary agent who is likely building his or her client list.

(Chapter 1 cliches and overused beginnings — see them all here.)

He is seeking: As an agent, Jacob is particularly committed to working closely with writers to bring their work to a higher editorial level. He is currently looking for journalists, bloggers, academics, Sci Fi/Fantasy writers, playwrights, and memoirists contemplating relevant social and philosophical issues in new and creative ways.

How to submit: See the online submission page.

One Response to New Literary Agent Alert: Jacob Moore of Zachary Schuster Harmsworth

  1. bronxman says:

Now seiously, WHAT IS THE POINT of listing this agent?

    No contact email is given.

You go to the submissions page and it says “no unsolicited queries.”

Why do you even list him? If you are going to list an agent here, require them to make themselves available.

Otherwise, the only point of your blog is to advertise agents.
