I just got back from my first trip (2010) to the Surrey International Writers Conference in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada—a suburb of Vancouver. Sadly, I did not get into the city to witness Vancouver in all its greatness, but the conference itself was very big and quite wonderful. I gave two speeches and moderated a panel. I also got to edit people’s work through the “Blue Pencil” live editing sessions. It’s a great general conference for writers. I highly suggest going in a future year.

I got to see several friends at the conference, including

I live in Vancouver, and I’m so glad you got to see a little slice of BC! Too bad I’m a poor student and couldn’t attend the conference. Maybe next year.
Lol, I had to comment on the first pic. I’m exactly the same! Don’t play – yeah, right…
Enjoyed your pics, and glad you disturbed the piano. (It probably was too.)
