Malcolm Gladwell Explains His Story Process

Categories: Chuck Sambuchino's Guide to Literary Agents Blog.

I read a lot of nonfiction, but perhaps my favorite writer is Malcolm Gladwell. His books are just amazing. As a writer myself (and especially back in my playwriting days when I was conjuring up more fiction), I am sometimes asked “Where do you come up with this stuff?”

Well, I find myself asking the same question when reading Gladwell’s stuff. So I wanted to share a link to this short but illuminating interview Gladwell did with CBS News here. I haven’t found a way to embed the video yet, so you have to go to CBS to see the video.

Malcolm Gladwell is amazing. :) His jaw seems very asymmetrical in this video, though. I couldn’t stop trying to figure out if that’s just how he is, or if it was a trick of the camera angle…

Totally the point of the video, I know. :P

  4. What a cool video. Just goes to show you…inspiration can come from anywhere at any time.

    Thanks for posting!
